CNC Battery Enclosure for XR

"You are looking at the first ever machined aluminum battery enclosure for the Onewheel XR! This box is machined from a single billet of aluminum. This box works with popular JW and Chi oversized battery packs (disregard interior picture with incorrect BMS wall)-(also, see the important note in red writing below). These boxes work with the stock battery and aftermarket packs. The cover is thicker than stock at the leading edge for impact resistance and comes with stainless steel threaded inserts.  **_IMPORTANT NOTE_**_- These boxes were machined with 218mm of width between internal bosses. All of the larger JWXR packs we tested dropped right in. However, one customer reported his JWXR pack was very tight and he did not feel comfortable with the fit. Bear in mind, there is a slight variance in battery pack manufacture. We have no control over that. If your purchase this battery enclosure, you are doing so at your own risk. You can dremel additional clearance inside the box if you like. But, that is done at your own risk. We will not accept returns on this box if your aftermarket pack does not fit. We will guarantee plenty of clearance for stock XR battery packs. But, we cannot guarantee any other packs will fit! We machined as much material off for aftermarket pack clearance as we feel is reasonable. Again, all our testing showed aftermarket packs dropped right in. But, we have one beta test customer with a JWXR pack that didn't fit smoothly....."_
