This box has been machined from solid billet 6061-T6 aluminum. It uses stainless steel threaded inserts on the lid. The leading edge of the lid is 4 times thicker than the stock controller lid for greater strength. This box is tremendously strong, while still being light weight. We were able to thin a few areas to bring the weight down as far as possible. Thorough testing was done to assure GPS and Bluetooth signals are not impeded. This is a truly high-end product!"
